Back in Singapore, I and my sister have two favorite hang-outs around the house. We love to spend half of the night in the kitchen. She usually stayed with me and entertains me while I was doing the cooking, whenever she decided not to go to work or when she was on a half day. And there, we were also drinking wine and beer. She loves red wine, and I was the beer drinker (well until now, I learned to love wine now though.)
Aside from the kitchen, we love to spend time at the balcony (terrace, for us Filipinos) for we smoke there, smoking is not allowed inside the house in Singapore.
One time, we decided to decorate it with some plants, flowers and a small tree. We tried to know if we have a green thumb like our father. Unfortunately both of us didn’t get our father’s ability to grow any plants or vegetables even at the top of our neighbor’s house.
Before the summer ended, all the greens that we bought from the local garden store died and we were unfortunate to create an atmosphere like below photos that we created on our minds.

I knew it. It will be going to rain. But even I knew I didn’t bother to bring an umbrella. I don’t know how long had I walked and decided to get in the bus. I am getting used to commute now. I don’t compare Singapore and Canada in terms of public transportation anymore. All I need is the drive to pick up my butt and hit the road, and I have all of it. In fact I’ll be off again tomorrow.
I hope tomorrow is not going to be a drizzly one.

This was not taken today or yesterday. But I am glad that this photo was taken last January 20 of 2007 (thanks to Flickr for that info), I posted it for my 17th photo of my Project 365 because, well I discover Lightroom 3 (beta) and downloaded it for free and I can use it until April.
And Lightroom 3 rediscover this photo when I started to import my photos from my computer, isn’t that amazing? (lol!)I completely forgot some photos on my computer, but the software has prompted me that I have 5442 photos, all in all, sitting on my laptop, that reminds me that I need to back up those files, just in case I will have a problem, you know computers.
By the way, I am giving Lightroom 3 a two thumbs up, have to explore it more though.

Three years of blogging had taught me to believe in myself (a little) and to know the things I am capable of doing. For an easy going and was been tagged as “irresponsible” happy go lucky parasite( I just made up this, please mother don’t get mad at me), blogging turned out to be my crowning glory.
I was nothing but a freeloader when my parents and my sister resolute to bring me to Singapore to look after my niece. There, I end up using my free time browsing the net – I was not allowed to chat anymore for they spent hundreds of bucks during my one month stay some years ago. There was no DSL and cable internet that time.
I didn’t chat this time but I discovered a whole lot of new things that I thought were far different from wasting time bitching with other bitched online. Sad to say…the latter part of my chat life wasn’t good. People are fighting over – I hate to say this- money, power and boys.
I have no money, powerless and boys were not born to get close to me, so I better stay away with these people or else, they will eat me alive.
