Father blogger says he loves my blog..naks! His online name sounds like a priest. Nope he has two kids and he is good on making tips not only about blogging but on parenting and of course marriage and family relationship.

a Filipina blogger who is working abroad but always find time to communicate to her 11-year old daughter  in the Philippines. Although she thinks she us brainless (Boba), I do not believe her as she is showing no sign at all in her posts and willingness to help fellow bloggers.

Actually, mali siya doon (he’s wrong).  Given the time difference, we don’t communicate that much.  Usually, when I see her online in YM I don’t talk to her because they will find out how late I sleep at night.  Baka kurutin ako sa singit ng nanay ko kapag nalaman nya yun lol! (My mother would probably pinch my groin when she knows!)

It is good to know that after the many changes of Manilenya, there is still (only one - I think) blogger/s who loves my blog.  There are those friends bloggers who are missing, AWOL, or some are not visiting anymore or is it me that is not paying a visit in their blog anymore?

But soon I know that these people will realize that I am just here around, yesterday I began to round up my blogroll, most of the blog I visits didn’t reciprocate the visit, well I am not asking them to hop back, I just want them to feel that I am just here. Hehehehe!(Laugh) naiiyak na ko (I am close to crying) naks may translation pa talaga!

Anyway, because there’s a lot of them in my blogroll, I didn’t finish the list.  I’ll be on my other list in the next day or so. I need to follow the rule, kailangan alphabetical lol!

To all of them….I LOVE THEIR BLOG….promise!

But this two blogs, I love the most….hmn, I will make it three

Who’s going to ignore a 749 words comment, especially if the effort is composed with the commenter’s assessment of this blogger and her blog posts?

When I saw Mr. Durano Lawayan’s comment in my, Me Got Talent post, I could not believe I finished reading the comment (lol! I don’t have patience in reading long post and comment, not unless they have story like the book that I am currently reading).

Seriously, the comment struck me. Although I know Mr. DL already (through another blogs comment box), he is a new reader of Manilenya. His 2 comments in this blog (and in all blogs that he is commenting) is outstanding. The last one, 749 words are absolutely needing a space for a real post, so I decided to publish it tonight and he, Mr. Durano Lawayan is my very first guest blogger.

Without further ado, I am giving you Mr. DL’s open letter to me.

My two recent reviews were rejected and if the supposed to be a paid post is rejected, the next thing to do is to follow the middle man’s rules in reviewing sites or products and resubmit the link. In my case, I don’t want to do that for I don’t want anybody infringe on my content. I have published the post already, and I think that my heart and soul is in the post including my grammatical errors.

And I feel after re-reading (a hundred times) my recent post, I can make it better if it’s wasn’t a supposed to be a paid post and if it’s written in Filipino. But I’ve done it however, so be it.

If only I can start my post with a greeting and an introduction of myself, I will start it that way, but I started it, with “If” so I’ll just proceed to say “Hi! I’m Manilenya!” And I will say “what’s up with you?”

I hope you’ll ask what’s going on with me. Conversely, what am I up to. Though I don`t know if somebody interested to know what`s going on with me, aside from those who were asking me once they see me in Facebook or in my other I’m`s. Moreover, I don`t really know if they really want to know what`s happening to me, or they just want to start the conversation with that question. I hope they really are that interested.

Just like I’m wondering if there is somebody who`s interested reading my blog.

Now that I realized that I`m not into this problogging kind, and I don`t even classified myself as a political blogger (that`s in my other blog and I don`t know why some called me one). And I`m not definitely a writer, though I want to fit in.

I enrolled myself to an online creative writing class but hesitant to continue after submitting my first assignment and a tutor who is a creative writer was assigned to coach me throughout this course.

I want to slip back. I don`t know if I`m afraid or not. And the term “afraid“ scares me a bit more. I supposed this is what I want to do, I considered of writing all my life, and yet I haven`t write anything. All were a piece of paper that ready to be crumpled.

That suffices to say that I am not ready to get starting. I`ve got the hitch that prevented me to think.

Nevertheless, soon I hope I get over it.

Noong maliliit pa daw kami ang sabi ng nanay ko, ako daw ang pinakamabait sa amin, pinakamasunurin. Siguro ay mga dalawa o tatlong taong gulang ako noon, pag kailangan daw kaming iwan sa bahay para maghanap sya ng makakain sasabihan nya lang akong “wagkang aalis jan ha sandali lang ang nanay.”. Tatango lang daw ako habang nakatingin sa kanya ang animo inaantok kong mata. Mahaba haba din ang oras ng sandali nya dahil yun ang mga panahong patago syang nagtitinda ng isda habang ang tatay ko ay nagtatrabaho sa konstruksyon.

Pagdating daw nya, kung saan nya ako iniwan, madalas ay sa may pinto na may harang ay doon nya rin ako madadatnan, punong puno ng dumi at basang basa sa ihi.Dahil sa ilang mga katangian na yun, nasabi ng mga taong nakapaligid sa akin na mahina daw ang loob ko.

Pero ang sabi ng sis ko, kung tutuusin daw ay ako ang pinakamalakas ang loob sa amin. Naalala nya pa daw noong mga Grade 2 ako ay lumayas daw ako, hindi nya alam kung ano ang dahilan basta maghapon daw akong hinanap ng mga tao sa bahay. Ang naalala ko lang, e umalis nga ako at nagpunta sa isang kamag-anak, naglakad ng may mga apat na kilometro o hindi lang mula sa bahay, pero ni sa hinagap hindi ko naisip na paglalayas yun.

Noong nag kolehiyo ako, di lang iilang beses na hindi ako umuuwi sa bahay, isang araw, dalawang araw, tatlong araw. Mas madalas ang mga araw na hindi ko pag uwi ay walang paalam. Dahil iniisip ko, kung mag papaalam ako ay hindi ako papayagan, kaya mas magandang wag na lang mag - paalam. At pag nag sabi naman ako, ang isasagot sa akin ng nanay ko ay “magpapaalam ka pa e kahit hindi ka papayagan aalis ka!”

Ngunit para sa akin ang mga pag alis ng ilang araw na yun ay hindi naman pag lalayas. Dahil pag naglayas ako tyak hindi na ko babalik.
