Yes there was an urgency when I took this photo last July 1 (Canada Day) for we need to find our perfect spot where we can see the fireworks at the lakeshore.
I know this post is so very late. What will I do, I’m a big fan of Antique shops.
But of course I really had fun on Canada Day too. I enjoy the festivity at the Downtown Barrie, there was street dancing and some bars carried out their live bands on the street, great stalls that sell food and crafts and the promenade was superb, not to mention of course the fireworks.
With Canada Day, friday beach bumming and flea market outing, that was really wonderful weekend.

I don’t know if I am still be doing this post since I this is my second Yashica post in three days and there should be more now that I just bought 3 boxes of 3 rolls (that makes it nine) of film.
I have to admit that I don’t know how to load and rewind my camera because when I was young it was my mother who was responsible with the camera. I am so glad that Anthony is showing me of how to do it.
P.S
Can I ask you a favor pls? Give me some love, follow me on my tumblr? Thanks.

There you see the four reasons why I love to shoot with film, the fifth? I don’t need to edit them.
It is not Yashica Sunday yet, but, I am loving’ every minute I spend my time on taking pictures with the vintage camera and I didn’t care if I need to develop my films twice in two days, call it overstated but it did take my breath away when I saw that most of them has the potential for posting.
I told Anthony earlier that I am going to break away from my DSLR for now, and I bought two boxes of three rolls right after that.

I was only throwing our garbage after snacking at the lake shore; I thank GOD that the garbage bin close to the van was full, when I walked to the other bin, this empty picnic table appealed to me.
It was so simple, so bland, calm and unruffled. When you sit here, you won’t even notice the people walking back and forth at the boardwalk.
It will be just you and the water, embracing each other.
On the other side of the note, it’s a shame that I missed my monthly column at the Kablogs Journal, i was going to make one but didn’t get the chance. I need to make something to make to up to them. I hope they forgive me.
