Three image photo frame

I am ecstatic with the outcome of my net browsing today, and I can feel that I am in the right spot after joining the, I heart faces community, specifically the For Pros and Wannabe group. These people are awesome and they are really giving advices to all photography wannabes.

Today I learned how to make three image photo frame template with the smart object and I’m loving’ it. Usually I use picnic to frame my photos, but now I can make it by myself using Photoshop. I am excited because I know how to use the rectangular marquee tool now, isn’t that amazing?

15/365 I was out

I was out.  We went to the gym and there’s no way for me to take photos inside the Gym (unless I will use my iPhone). I saw a tree just outside the gym, there are no leaves but there’re a lot of fruits hanging on its branches, I am guessing they are wild berries.

Just guessing.  I said I will take photos of those bunches of berries, but it was dark outside when we left the gym.  I am not so lucky tonight.

Day 4 – Maxxie

Nikon D5000
1/60 second
F/5.6
ISO 1600
72 mm (35mm equiv.)

I am in front of my laptop now and when I turned around, I saw maxx and anthony chilling on the bed, what a great time to click my shutter. Way to go for my day 4!  He is actually taking almost the half of our bed’s space.

Day 1 – Family Photo.

It’s 11:46 and this post is my very first entry for my new project 365, I’ve been meaning to religiously post a photo a day so wish me luck.  This photo was taken few hours ago, when we were taking a break from cleaning up our room.

Unconscious mutterings – monkey love…

  1. Heist ::  steal
  2. Hack ::  steal
  3. Dane ::  people from Denmark
  4. Stings ::bites
  5. Monkey ::business
  6. Junkie ::  political
  7. Pumped ::water
  8. Brass ::    band
  9. Fight! ::   Go!
  10. Vouch ::  er

I don’t know if I am making a sense in this word game every time I do it on Sundays midnight. Sometimes, after publishing the post I just laughed and accept that this is only what I can do whenever the Unconscious Mutterings send me their weekly set of words.

And every time, I also find that I can associate the happenings I had with one word or more of these mutterings.

Take for example this monkey, who would say that I love monkey? Lol!

I don’t dream big

“Why are you there (Canada) then?” My cousin retorts when I told her that I don’t dream big.

I don’t really dream big. When my mother asked me what I want to be when I grow up, I was in grade school that time, and I told her I want to be a teacher.

But honestly, I don’t know what I really want to be. I have never thought about that, it’s just that I felt that my mother was waiting for my answer so I replied with no hesitation.

And wanting to be a teacher is not big either, at least in the Philippines.

When I was still in Tondo, I always see this house every time I buy vegetables for our meal. If you know the common ‘tao’, they buy common needs when they need it, so I get to see this small house two to three times a day. Their house is probably smaller than ours, or I just thought that it is smaller because it seems that they have these appliances tucked in their living room. Since it is small, the living room might also be their dining room, just like us.

What I like in that house was the organ in one corner and the phone (we have no phone yet at that time) and the organ seem to grant my wish to learn to play any musical instrument. Guitar would be fine but, it won’t give me the glory of having a small but appealing house.

Still, not a big dream. I could wish a big house and lot in one of the richest subdivision or condominium in Makati but I didn’t.

I never thought of leaving Tondo.

What a wonderful award and world

Its 12:47 a.m., I don’t think Unconscious Mutterings will be in my inbox anytime soon. It usually sent to my inbox 20 minutes after 12, I’m kind of missing it tonight or today…Whatever.

I was supposed to post it together with the two wonderful things I received yesterday.

I still cannot stop myself from checking my inbox, it’s getting addictive I guess. The tension of waiting is running down my spine, and I am getting over-acting now.

Anyway, I better share you this two stuff I received yesterday and I was overwhelmed about it.

First I saw this video. No, first Mr. Durano Lawayan gave me this wonderful award, actually it’s not the award that is wonderful. It is the great review that he gave to this blog, I had a goose bump when I read it (eeewww! I am over acting again lol!)

Here what his review goes:

Manilenya – This blog mirrors the aspirations of many Filipinos who seek a better life and a better future for their families abroad, removed physically from their loved ones. Manilenya’s struggle with the guilt of being away from her young child finds solace in connecting with many other Filipinos in like situations as well as finding new friends based in Manila who offer encouragement and moral support. Her posts are at times witty, sometimes funny with lots of self-deprecating humor, yet always poignant and hopeful. Her intelligence and capabilities come to the fore despite the perceived limitations she has of herself, which she doesn’t realize she has already transcended. She epitomizes this robust and pliable race whose humor is its best coping mechanism. It makes Filipinos proud to belong to this race.

Lovin’ the blogs…..

Father blogger says he loves my blog..naks! His online name sounds like a priest. Nope he has two kids and he is good on making tips not only about blogging but on parenting and of course marriage and family relationship.

He said :

I am….

a Filipina blogger who is working abroad but always find time to communicate to her 11-year old daughter  in the Philippines. Although she thinks she us brainless (Boba), I do not believe her as she is showing no sign at all in her posts and willingness to help fellow bloggers.

Actually, mali siya doon (he’s wrong).  Given the time difference, we don’t communicate that much.  Usually, when I see her online in YM I don’t talk to her because they will find out how late I sleep at night.  Baka kurutin ako sa singit ng nanay ko kapag nalaman nya yun lol! (My mother would probably pinch my groin when she knows!)

It is good to know that after the many changes of Manilenya, there is still (only one – I think) blogger/s who loves my blog.  There are those friends bloggers who are missing, AWOL, or some are not visiting anymore or is it me that is not paying a visit in their blog anymore?

But soon I know that these people will realize that I am just here around, yesterday I began to round up my blogroll, most of the blog I visits didn’t reciprocate the visit, well I am not asking them to hop back, I just want them to feel that I am just here. Hehehehe!(Laugh) naiiyak na ko (I am close to crying) naks may translation pa talaga!

Anyway, because there’s a lot of them in my blogroll, I didn’t finish the list.  I’ll be on my other list in the next day or so. I need to follow the rule, kailangan alphabetical lol!

To all of them….I LOVE THEIR BLOG….promise!

But this two blogs, I love the most….hmn, I will make it three
