abby's bookmarks on august break

I want to jump and jump and jump on the bed when I saw my package from Abby Try Again sitting in my our mailbox two days ago, but I didn’t do it.

The reason was I was crying all day. Anthony was so irritated with his condition, and I was starting to become furious with his attitude and then I realized that I have to understand him. But also, I am becoming stubborn when my mind insists that I have to understand my irrationality.

That being said, I didn’t post for two days. I don’t want to speak my mind, for I don’t want to say things that I will regret afterwards.

Ant is back on teasing me for not laying beside him while he’s watching TV. Although he’s complaining still, about his back pain from time to time, I know that he’s back and that makes me happy.

I now have time to enjoy these bookmarks I ordered from Abby’s store

I want to greet my new blog friend Rhonda a happy, happy birthday today.  Thanks for August Break because I met her through this summer photo  blog. activity.

A guest post by Amy

(I met Amy through SupahMama’s Post It Note Tuesday, in a short time we both agreed that she will fill in this Saturday’s post, I am so glad that she offered her one day with this great post and photos.  However, I do pray that in time she can go camping again.  Honest to goodness, all the relaxation that you wish for your life is right there at the camp ground. With smores, a cup of tea (or beer? :P ), late night chit-chat, bike riding, canoeing or simply slacking at the trailer, what more could you ask for?  Anyhow, I’ll give you Amy now.)

The exciting thing? This is my first guest post.

The ‘not so exciting’ thing? After I agreed to guest post, Annalyn asked if I could blog about camping as that is what she’d be doing while away from her wonderful blog. And she also mentioned that her blog is mostly a photo journal. Problem #1 – I haven’t camped since 1996.

Problem #2 – I didn’t take any pictures during that trip because I felt really crummy due to allergies, which is why I haven’t camped since then. I found out years later that I have horribly bad outside and inside allergies, so the only camping I do nowadays is vicariously through other people.

So, I enlisted the help of a friend who recently went camping within our beautiful state of South Dakota, in the Black Hills to be exact. And, she takes awesome pictures too, just like Annalyn.

The wonderful thing about camping? You get to see up close and personal the creation of God at its finest and in all its glory…this always draws one into a deeper worship of Him and His awesomeness. You can reset your priorities and refocus the chaos that may have settled in your mind amidst the daily grind. You can energize yourself with the fresh air and quietness to ready yourself to face the struggle and toil again. Hmn…I think I miss camping. Maybe if I just doubled my meds….

(a  guest post by Amy of grace-full living and worship while i wait, why not visit her now?)

ps.  for Amy, thank you very much for this wonderful post and welcome to blogging!

post it note tuesday

I got this idea from here.

Today until tomorrow, I am supposed to be so super busy for we are bound to have our four day camping trip at the Algonquin Park.

I don’t want to leave this blog unattended since it’s quite new.  If I were to ask, I want somebody to do a guest blog for me while I am away.  I have not guts to ask some of my favorite bloggers though.  I guess this is one of my attitudes that I need to work out.

This girl on my photos is Anthony’s niece, all taken from our very first camping this season.  Isn’t she pretty?

There are lots of photos that have yet to post but since I got crazy taking photos with film, I missed posting some of my digital photos.

in between my poutine

Sunday at the Barrie Lakeshore.  I was just sitting at the steps under the Corteen Steel and taking photographs in between my poutine when this man with a telephoto lens aimed his camera to me.  My impulse was to take him a picture of him also.

All the photos above were taken with Nikon D5000 this time.

friday at the beach

Yesterday I went to the beach and just watched these people.  I didn`t even plunge myself to the water, it was a little bit cold.

I decided to blog here for the meantime.  Just like that.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY AMERICANS!
