I'll tell you one damn thing, and that's all I know

I was holding Baby Proof (an Emily Griffin Book) I got from one of the shelves at Value Village. It was Boxing Day but Anthony and I ended up perusing second hand stuff at the nearby thrift store. That was after our visit to Leon’s.

Anthony wants to get a new pair of washing machine and a dryer, but if he gets them, he realized that he needs to call an electrician, more stuff to do and more service to pay. I guess we’re both disappointed. Him, because even if he wants the washing machine and the dryer (they are so cheap, believe me!) we cannot get them right now. I’ll say we have to wait until we get a new house and that is 3 or more months henceforth, or a year, but I swear to GOD that I don’t want to wait for another year to get a new house.

But he said I have to wait. I know that I have to wait. I’m a good girl, I understand.

I guess I learned my lesson when I bought another book written by Luanne Rice, when I saw her very first published book, which I also got from Value Village – I learned also that I don’t need to spend money for new books if I can get them at a cheaper price at any thrift shop, and I’m glad there are those who read and donate- not because I have some books written by the same author, I am going to love reading them.

Seeing Jane or Jann Arden’s I’ll Tell You One Damn Thing, And That’s All I know! was a big relief. I won’t be getting a book which I thought I will enjoy, only to find out that I will not going to open them anymore.

Although I enjoy reading Something Borrow (kind of), it is getting boring every time I leaf the page and I totally dislikes the ending.

Jann’s book fascinates me, there is nothing there that you won’t enjoy reading, in fact if I am going to use highlighter pen, they are all glowing with yellow marker from her introduction to the end of the book.

I’ll share you one of my favourite:

“You have to keep going, even when you don’t have the clue where you are going. You are fine the way you are, or are you? You know when you need to change. It’s just hard taking the first step. You have to tell your feet to move.”

And I am glad that I got the book for $3.99 only compare to $21.95, isn’t that amazing?
