To my online dad and mom(?)
I met her through her husband who I am fond calling tatay (father) -I saw him once, before I flew to Canada and the token of friendship (a bracelet) together with long conversation in blog comments, he really left a soft spot in my heart.
Back to her, although I call her Ate (big sister) I feel that she’s looking after me in the blog world like a mother – although there’s only a few years gap between us. One proof is that all her blog in Entrecard are in my top 20 droppers, she visits me plenty of times in a day. I really appreciate that. All the kind words and messages I received from her, I forever be grateful for them. And now the poem of friendship that she lovingly dedicated to me, I think I am one of the luckiest people on earth having them around me in the cyber space.
We need friends for many reasons,
all throughout the season.
We need friends to comfort us
when we are sad,
and to have fun with us when we are glad.
We need friends to give us good advice,
We need someone we can count on,
and treat us nice.
We need friends to remember us
one we have passed
sharing memories that will always last.
It’s funny that I believe that I don’t have a real friend all my life, but now, I know in my heart, even if I don’t see them eye-to-eye they are there to give light in my life.
