I saw this beside the pool this afternoon. I was so excited grabbing my camera because this toad seem wants to play around, it didn’t even jump away from me when I was aiming my camera at him/her…whatever lol!
I so love my workplace; I described it like a zoo. Last time my employer catches a turkey from the bush, I got some pictures of it, but I was using my cell phone, so the images didn’t turn out well. If only I can take pictures of deer as close as this toad, that would be very pleasing.

sobra naman yan, alam ko magkakakulugo lang kapag naihian ng palaka e :p wow may work ka na? bilis ha! dali lang ba pagpunta dyan? pinag uusapan ng dalawa kong sis kung paano makukuha yung isa sa pinas e. Wow naman! umuunlad pare ko commercial photography na samantalang ako basic pa lang yung gustong kunin..paglaki ko gagayahin kita
wala pa e, dapat december kaso wala pa ko ipon kung hindi march baka in two years pa

No threio, I am still dreaming of that camera, yesterday my employer showed me a newspaper and asked me if that’s the camera that I want own, I said yes and it cost my life. I used my new bought point and shoot camera for that. Thank you!
I had a lot of photos of that toad swimming in the pool but that photo, I think is the best of all. I’m glad that you like my shots :p.

What a cute little bugger. We’ve got two boys, so somebody around our house is always picking up frogs, lizards, snakes, bugs, etc. The hardest part is trying to teach them the difference between the safe and dangerous ones!

naalala ko yung palaka na na-disect ko nung high school ganyan-ganyan ang hitsura. at bago ko siya na-disect nagpagala-gala siya sa loob ng laboratory.
dalawang beses siyang nakawala sa kamay ko kaya
naalala ko rin ang pamatay na punchline ng biology teacher ko na “I’m warninging you, Karen. Another warning and I’ll sent you out!”

naku palaka at talagang hinawakan pa hahaha.
may magandang experience ako kay kermit, biology project namin ang skeleton ng palaka, natural manghuhuli kami, nagbayad na lang kami para me manghuli. nung nasa amin na ang palaka, itong mabait kong barkada na noong nagsabog ng kabaitan sa mundo ay nakatago sa kweba, tama bang lagyan ng dalawang palaka ang loob ng tshirt ko ng hindi ko alam? akala ko tuloy me nakapasok na ahas sa likod ko hehehe, siguro kung nakakamatay ang pamumutla, nakalibing na ako lol.

We have a toad that lives under our front porch. He comes out at night to hop around on the sidewalk, and then he squeezes back into the little hole in the ground.
Our neighbor told us that there are even more lurking around, and he finds them in his pool all the time.

MikeWell at least you are the parent of your two boys, they will listen to you when you ask them not to pick anything, the little girl who’s holding the toad always telling me that I cannot control her, and she will continue picking anything.

Looks like a Cane Toad or Bufo marinus. I like them, they taste like chicken too.

Marami sa probinsiya namin nyan, nung bata pa ako, isa sa kaklase ko eh nasiritan sa mata ng ganyang klase ng palaka, nabulag sya……. kaya, isang munting paalala, mag ingat sa paghawak ng palaka…. LOL!
