How many times I told myself not to read other blogs or just visiting other sites, and I want to add dropping EC before I do my business (which is blog posting)?
I realized by doing those stuff before mine is a cruel thing to do for my blog. I honestly cannot post anything, and I totally put Residual Matters in limbo. First, too much reading of considerable topics on blogosphere drains my mind.
Second, I was affected by the recent email I received from PPP. For the nth time, they rejected me. I took it ruefully that I made this blog a photoblog (for the meantime) without thinking. I must say that I was hurt, especially when I saw this line, “Accepted blogs must contain posts which are written clearly and are easy to understand. Your blog contains a high number of grammatical errors.”
It’s killing me.
It’s over-reacting if I say I am lamenting, but yes I am. You see I am trying hard to do the thing that I am not good at. I know I can write in my native language excellently (yes, I am boasting), but I want to prove that I can write other languages too. Yes, languages because you might see me writing in French, Italian, Korean, or it depends if what language I want to learn. Now I am dreaming.
I wasn’t hurt because I cannot earn few bucks by making reviews from PPP advertisers, although, of course, let’s accept it, who doesn’t want to earn? But that’s not a big deal to me. Telling my blog contains a high number of grammatical errors is cutting.
It cuts every single hope that I can write. It’s my dream and PPP brings my dream to an end and was considering of dropping out in my creative writing class (which I recall, I have a pending assignment.)
I told this thing to a friend who works with Filipino writers back home (Philippines), and I’m very glad with his reply.
“It should be like that. You’re into creative writing and creative writing has a vast of grammatical error.”
Okay, that makes me sane.
Another blogger friend (Itot – yey! I post your name friend) said to me that he received the same email from PPP a long time ago. It seems like they have one template for disapproving blogs.
Now, Itot is earning a lot from PPP advertisers, after being rejected many times.
Now that makes me perfectly sane. I’m not going to break off my creative writing class anymore. But please remind me to read my workbook and textbooks and do my pending assignment.
And improve my vocabulary……
And get better on my grammar.

don’t feel bad. it’s really not a big deal. Until now, I haven’t made any sponsored post from PPP. All opps are either taken or I’m not qualified. My site has no ranking so I have limited opps. But your site has P4 ranking, you should be rejoicing. =)

To tell you honestly, I can’t believe my page rank lol! And that subside my disappointment. I have sponsored post in my other blog even it’s a non-English blog but I made this for earning, actually, and of course my journey to English writing.

geez! I got the same email from PPP for my other blog..:) and been rejected a several times before being finally approved.. don’t take it to heart.

i’m not a writer and i often commit grammar mistakes but what the heck, even native speakers aren’t perfect (george bush for an example)… i’ve been a member of PPP for some time now, but i haven’t written anything for them nor have i inserted their code into my blog… there are other blog advertisers out there… my favorite is payu2blog…
