One of the questions I get from the interview that was never used by the blogger/student of UP (yes after two nights of spending on the 17 Question for her Media Ethics class, she didn’t get the chance to use my answers. I want to ask the GOD of Blogging why, but I don’t know who GOD of blogging is. Anyone who has a big heart, tell me please!!!) is my opinion on the latest craze that the blogger is now dancing which is problogging or doing a paid post.
I sometime singing this line “everybody’s doing a brand new dance now” by my favorite Kylie Minogue

Sorry I need to post the whole stanza, I really can’t help but singing.
First, what I have in mind is, I want a good read. Most blogs I visit nowadays are not such a good read. It’s either they are advertising something that I swear to the Saint of bubulis I cannot stomach or they all acting they are know-it-all -bloggers-blogging-about-blogging. That would mean for me blogs at present is definitely not a good read anymore.
But those bloggers I referred to are the one’s get the hype in terms of blog hits, a special mention in many blog entries and of course the appetizers on the tables whenever there is blogger’s EB.
They soon will become a superstar according to a commenter in one of my entries.
Second, because they are going to be a superstar, I have changed my mind. Maybe I should try this too, since I am tired of the excessive posting of my personal day-to-day life. I can’t keep a secret anymore. I remember Kneeko left a comment saying I already told my whole life here in my blog. And who is going to read again my pointless claim of how worn-out my life is?
It is better to read tips about how to make money online than reading my blog, you will say.
But hell no, I know you’re going to stay if I will tell you that I want to give you good readings. I become conscious that doing a paid post entry will help me hone my skills as an aspiring writer. I find it having the discipline of writing. And I want to show you that.
But please, don’t ask me tips how to increase your page rank, hits, what to write and everything. Because I don’t know the answer.
Let’s just dance Locomotion altogether. That is more fun for sure.

Wow nice post momski! I agree. Alam mo napansin ko bilang isang blogger at money maker lol e challenging ang ginagawa natin para madevelop ang ating writing skills. Lalo na sa mga paid post aba ang hirap ang isip. Kelangang lawakan ang imagination sa pagsusulat dahil kung hindi semplang ang sinulat mo di ba? yan na nga yata ang agos ngayon ng mga blogger ang kumita pero meron naman na kumikita habang tuloy pa rin ang motibo nila sa pagbablag ang mag-entertain at magbigay ng ideya at kaalaman sa buhay, nagbibigay-buhay, buhay ng may buhay etc.

first off, naku yan pa naman mga sinusulat kong mga topics ngayon (hiya ako)… I hope hindi boring yung mga topics ko sa yo. hehehe!
second, why stop writing about your life if that’s what makes you happy? writing, in more ways than one, is a form of self-expression, a medium of instruction, sharing and learning. kung dyan ka masaya eh di dyan ka. just have a good approach to blogging. just enjoy it (and maybe earn some molaah). it’s not an easy thing to do anyway. at times i even find it hard to write so I don’t force myself to write.
basta enjoy ka sa mga sinusulat mo, ok yan. your readers will appreciate it more if they can sense that you’re passionate about what you write - whether about your life, daily experiences, paid posts, etc.

i don’t know how to begin my comment on this post. i counted all my entries since I joined the paid bandwagon. It’s 50:50 so far for personal and paid posts (since my first paid entry), though I aim a 2:1 ratio in favor of non-paid posts. There are just too many opps appearing on some days.
I admit that I often skip reading the paid posts and i know it would also be the same for the readers of my blog.
