“Why? He doesn’t have helpers to watch us?”

“Hmm. He has angels and saints. He actually sends angels for all of us. Like you, your mom is your angel, your dad is your angel and I, might be one of your angels.”

I was having a talk to a little girl who called me silly and (idiot. but that was another story), she said that my silliness had reached outer space because I believe in GOD and she’s not. I hope that helps her to not worry about the “bad dreams” she frequently tells me she had two weeks ago.

After a while, I heard her snoring and I smiled because an angel , her angel just help her to get to sleep.

Change is Inevitable, Change is Constant

Sa syudad ako pinanganak. Kung itatanong mo kung saang syudad, taas noo kong sasabihing “doon sa malapit sa malabundok na basura.” Doon kung saan nakilala yung mga sputnik at sigue-sigue gang na nagpapalitan ng taga, sumpak at pana.

Lupa ang kinamulatan kong tinutuntungan ng paa ko. May mangilan-ngilang puno akong kinakapitan, habang sa isip ko ay kumakanta ako. Palagay ko ay mga kantang kundiman na napapanood ko sa mga lumang pelikula sa tanghali. Mga pelikulang magkasabay naming pinapanood ng aking lola. At sa harap ko naman ay ang mga bangka na nakahimpil sa gilid ng mga lambak ng basura.

Iyong lambak ng basura, ilog sana iyon pero hindi na makita.

Ibayo ang tawag namin sa mga nakahilerang bahay sa tapat pagkalagpas ng ilog. Malinaw pa ang itsura ng mga reta-retasong plywood na ginawang bahay. May mga mala kurtinang mga sako na siyang ginawang pantabing sa pintuan.

Habang lumalaki ako, kasabay ng pagtigas ng mga lambak ng basura sa ilog hindi pa rin mapagkit sa isip ko ang itsura ng mga kabahayan sa ibayo. Sa pagdagdag ng mga panahon, iniisip ko kung ano ba ang nabago. Nabawasan ba ang ang mga retaso ng plywood? Bakit parang nag-iba ang bintana. Uy mukhang babagsak na ang kabilang bahay.

Naalala ko tuloy noong una kong napanood yung pelikulang Insiyang ni Hilda Koronel. Tuwang-tuwa ako dahil sa halos lahat ng lakaran nyang iskinita ay alam ko. Ultimong yung binibilihan ko ng mga kendi ay naging tambayan ng mga karakter ng pelikula.

At iyon rin ang naging batayan ko para ikumpara ang itsura ng kinalakihan kong lugar noon at ngayon (yung ngayon ay nung mga panahong napapansin ko na yung malaking pagbabago)

Noon ko naisip na inevitable ang pagbabago. Na kahit na ano pang gusto kong pananatili na sa iba’y nakasusulasok ng lupang pinanggalingan ko ay hindi pwedeng mangyari yun.

At ngayon sa sarili ko, nararamdaman ko na mayroong isang depenidong pagbabagong naglalaro sa isip ko. Hindi ko lang alam kung kakayanin kong gawin. Pero desidido ako dahil gusto ko ng pagbabago.

Dark chocolate is an explosive, almost forbidden pleasure to those who love it. I am like that one crazy night the old person thinks about while reflecting back on younger days. I am wild, rich, and deep with many layers. Every person should taste me at least once before they die, because how can one judge the value of life’s simple pleasures without having climbed the highest mountain or dived the deepest abyss. I received a package from Quality of Course Incorporated this morning. The package includes some books and CD installers. The Sources (directory of experts and spokespersons in Canada). A student handbook of Unit 1 to 4 of my course and my first assignment. The assignment is my student profile, I have to answer series of questions about me and one of these is the previous job that I had. Below is an excerpt of the answer I did.

I worked first as an Internet staff in an Internet cafe and when they decided to put up another branch they asked me to work as an assistant supervisor. I enjoyed the work a lot because I’m into computers. Internet in particular.

When my mother has decided to go to Singapore for a while, I have to carry out her job. She is a sidewalk vendor that sells fish. It’s her own business and I have to look for it while she was out of the country.

So I sell fish in the sidewalk where Filipino-Chinese live. Its kind a not so good job for me at first. Imagine I was holding computers and do programming subjects when I was in a technical school and there I was in sea port to get fish to sell, go to Chinese customers with the raw sea foods in my hand and take their orders, clean the orders after and delivered it. But later I enjoyed doing the odd job but still I have reservations. I don’t think that business was for me.

I did a freelance massage therapist too while I was working as a nanny in Singapore.

I am currently working as a Live-In Caregiver.

If I will add all the job experiences I have since I was small (yes you’ve read it right), I consider them electrifying. My friend once told me it’s moving and he can make a movie out of it.

It is not unusual. I know some people who have more unusual experiences than mine.

Haling sa Mailap na Usa

Nakita ko na naman sila. Ngayon medyo malinaw na sila sa litrato dahil kahit malayo nasa tapat ko lang sila. Pero noong nakita nila akong nakatutok sa kinaroroonan nila, mabilis tumakbo yung dalawa. Noong una pakiramdam ko nakikipagtitigan sila sa akin sa tuwing makikita ko sila. Malayo man, alam ko na alam nila na pinagkakatitigan ko sila.

Noong minsan sa tapat mismo ng deck sila nakatambay. Naghahanap ng makakain. Nang nararamdaman ng usa na may mga matang nakatanghod sa kanya, bigla siyang humalinghing na parang kabayo. Sabay takbo sa gilid ng bahay papunta sa isang sulok ng mga puno.

Iniisip ko kung makikita kaya sila ni Aya, ano ang gagawin ng bata? Ahhh alam kong hindi sya matatakot, mas matapang sa akin ang batang yun e.

At iniisip ko rin dahil sa parang haling akong makakita ng mga usa sa malapitan, baka pag nagtagal ako dito maisipan kong mag-alaga ng usa. Pero malabo. Saka hindi na sila pagtatyagaang hantingin pag nangyari yun. Wala ng thrill.

What’s next?

It’s like I am doing it the first time. I have created numerous of blogs but decided to delete them one by one. It’s not that I can’t work on them all, but I don’t know exactly what to post in there. I have known myself a spontaneous blogger. I blog my mind. I blog the emotions I feel inside me. I blog what happened to me last night or what thing that troubles me while I am constructing post.

And I blog simply because I want to write, even without any topic in mind. But usually, I can get on my feet and just write and after the long stumbling block of uncertain words that will fill my writing, I know I have feed my sense of self.

Here I decided I want to write. Now I am serious.

via FoxyTunes Kailangan ko na talagang bumoto. As in kailangan ko ng bumoto. Kanina lang pinag-uusapan sa inuman ng mga tropa ng tyuhin ko yung snap election daw noong dekada nobenta na pagbobotohan kung gagawing state ng US ang pinas. Bigla akong naduwal.

Wala kasi akong natatandaang ganun e. Ang alam ko nagtatalo-talo ang senado kung kailangan panatilihin ang base militar sa Ongpin..este sa Subic (hehehe ang layo lol!)

Kailangan kong gawin ito. Sorry pero ayaw kong mapatalsik sa pederasyon ng mga social climber ng mga pinoy blogger around the world of tralalala. At higit sa lahat, ayaw kong matanggalan ng trono bilang suma cum laude ng Social Climbing Class 101.

Hehehe mukhang makakadami ako ng kanta dito sa entry na to. Ang saya saya!!

Medyo mahirap kasing pumili. Una hindi ako kasali..hindi ko kasi natyambahan ang tsampyon ng logo na si kapatid na panjjjjjjjjjjjjjeeeeeeeeeeeettt!!

Pangalawa, mahal ko silang lahat. As in mahal ko si tukayong malen. As in mahal na mahal ko si Daddee Ambo. As in mukhang masarap mahalin si KK. At as in sarap sigurong makajamming sa tugtugan si Itot, siya tutugtog ako ang makikinig.

Pero ika nga ng kakilala kong tibak sa kanto, walang gitna. Kaliwa’t kanan lang meron. Heh! wasted na yata ako sa tinutugtog ng foxytune ko.

Kailangan ko ng bumoto. At ito ang boto ko.

A lady find me gorgeous.

There is this application in Facebook that you can add a person in gorgeous people that you will stumble on their profile and numerous guys already put me on their gorgeous person’s list. That you could agree of course. Men admire pretty ladies and if they think that you are gorgeous, they would definitely say it.

But ladies? I was stunned at first. But come to think of it, we ladies recognize beauty more than guys. We should know better.

Numerous of times that guy friends often ask me what I think with girls they fancied, and that supposed to mean looks. Of course I will bluntly say what’s on my mind. And most of the times we don’t agree. They’re into physical features and we girls see more than the face.

Ang ganda ng feeling….

Kanina sabi ko gustong kong bumili ng Dance Revo. Gustong gusto ko talaga yun kahit na hindi ako marunong. Sabi ko matututo rin naman ako. Parang larong step-no step-yes lang naman yun diba? Feeling ko kasi kung magkakaroon ako nun at kung gagamitin ko yun, tiyak mawawala ang mga kabilbilan ko.

Ewan ko ba kung bakit feeling maganda ako ngayong araw na ito gayung napapansin ko na bumabalik na naman yung mga flakes sa ulo ko. Sabi ng kapatid ko noong bago-bago ako sa Singapore noon, ganun daw yun kapag napunta ka sa ibang lugar. Nagkakaroon ng reaction ang balat o anit sa bagong environment. Pero matay ko mang isipin mahigit walong buwan na ako dito. Hmmnn baka sabihin nyo sa akin e “paligo lang ang katapat nito.” Naliligo naman ako pramis.

Kung ang habol mo sa paninigarilyo ay ang usok na lumalabas sa bibig o ilong mo, at paminsan-minsang paglabas nito sa tenga mo (kung nagtitrip o kaya nama’y feeling mo isa kang magician na yosi boy o yosi girl), dito sa malamig na kinauupuan ko e malamang hindi ka na magyosi. Lalo na kapag nalaman mong aabot sa kulang 400 pesos ang isang kaha.

Pero kung adik ka naman sa usok ng sigarilyo (hindi sa nikotina), okey lang. Yosi pa rin.

Kasalukuyang nasa negatibo otso ang temperatura dito. Kahapon ng umaga pag gising ko ay nasa negative 23 siya, hindi ko alam kung kasama na diyan ang tinatawag nilang plus windshield. Sa totoo lang hindi ko pa alam kung ano ba yang windshield na yan. Hindi na ako magtatanong. Dahil ang alam ko hindi naman ako masasagot. Naalala ko pa ng magtanong ako kung bakit kailangang turkey ang ihanda sa hapag kainan kapag Thanksgiving Day. Kaya huwag na lang. Masasayang lang ang laway ko. At masasayang lang ang ilang minutong pag-iisip kunwari ng pagtatanungan ko.
