Everybody loves weekend, it is the time for leisure, recreation and other religious activities. And when everyone is having a grand time, you want to capture it and share it with others. That’s why Weekend Snapshot is here for you. Come and join the fun here.

We left the house at 2 am, had waited for some friends inside a coffee shop at 4 am and arrived at the lake with the glimpse of daylight but this old lady still had a patience holding her fishing rod the whole day. Not to mention that we had to change places and find better rivers to fished.
This was taken late afternoon during the family fishing day and after this we traveled for another two hours just to get to the Barrie lakeshore, there she decided that she’s done for the day and retired to the back seat of the van we we’re riding.

Totally fun and yet incredibly lonely and even a little bit despairing. You have a way of capturing that. It’s a gift. Keep it up.

Jon,
you always see loneliness in my photos, why is that? Am I really that transparent? lol!
thanks anyways
November 2nd, 2007 at 1:35 pm
I’m not exactly sure why. But it\’s pretty apparent to me. I like that the photographs seem to say one thing until you really look at them. Then they really capture something very lonesome.
I would love to see you take more close ups of your subjects. I bet you have a remarkable eye for that.
