Tag mula kay Jhay, syempre hindi ko mahindian at pwedeng panagot sa new years resolution na wala ako.  Ang bumalik at iassess ang sarili kung ano na ba ako? kung asan na ba ako? kung nagkaroon ba ako ng direksyon ng nakaraang taon at kung maiisip kong magkaroon na ng direksyon ngayong taong ito.

 

Halika’t bulatlatin ang aking nakaraang taon.  Huwag kalimutang buksan ang radyo o mp3 player dahil sa mahaba-haba ito.

What did you do in 2006 that you’ve never done before?
 

Noong nag-apply ako sa Canadian Embassy, syempre di ko pa ginawa dati yun.
 

What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
 

Piece of mind at peace of mind period
 

What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
 

November 2006, the month when CE asked me to undergo some more medical exam, winindang nito ang isip ko tungkol sa health ko.
 

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
 

Pwede bang N/A? the last time na naisip ko kung may na achieve ba ko sa buhay ko ay yung nagsilang ako ng sanggol, that made me proud as a woman.  Pero ngayon iniisip ko kung paano ako magiging proud bilang isang ina.
 

What was your biggest failure?
 

Ayaw kong isipin na I am my biggest failure……I’m still struggling.  Still hanging.  Still dreaming. Still wishing. Still hoping.  Nah! nothing’s failing yet.
 

What was the best thing you bought?
 

books that I haven’t read yet. 
 

Did you suffer illness of injury?
 

Aside from my x-ray di ko alam kung ano tong tumubo sa ilong ko, pigsa, bukol, tagyawat?  ewan.
 

Whose behavior merited celebration?
 

ang dakila kong nanay syempre, dagdag ko pa youngest sis ko at ang hubby nya.
 

What did you really, really get excited about?
 

my visa application result.   Still hoping…kailan kaya?
 

What songs will always remind you of 2006?
 

Ask me about the songs that remind me of 2004 pwede?

Nothing special for both years.  I do hope there will be in a few days or weeks.
 

What do you wish you’d done more?
 

I could have enrolled to some interesting class that will develop my skills in cooking, massaging and some arts like painting or photography… if I really have skills lol!

Or even learn a new language sana.
 

What do you wish you’d done less of?
 

Staying up late at night at yung nag-isip ng mga hindi ka aya-ayang bagay.  Naglumunoy sa luha pagkatapos tatawa ng tatawa, hahalakhak ng hahalakhak.

How many one-night stands?
 How I wish I meron nyahahahahaha!!! at least one sana lol!! nyahahahaha ulit!
 What was your fave TV program?
 Grey’s Anatomy.
 

What was the best book you’ve read?
 

I love Lualhati Bautista’s collection of short stories in Buwan Buwan! Hulugan Mo Ako Ng Sundang, it’s old though but I really like it.
 

What was your greatest musical discovery?
 

Wala akong maisip.
 

What was your fave film of the year?
 

Mr. and Mrs. Smith gave me the idea to post Daydreamer in my previous post but it wasn’t my fave.  Wala akong fave.
 

What did you do on you bday, and how old were you?
 

I was home and had a long phone chat with Joanne but didn’t tell her that it was my birthday. That day we opened ourselves to each other,
Some of my past and her parent’s past.  She has parents once I wish I had but of course don’t get me wrong. I love my parents.  Cool lang ang parents nya
Because they’re from FQS era.
 

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
 

may tamang term ang mga fashionista dito pero sa mga bading ang tawag nila ay TIGBAK!!…nyahahahaha!!! I don’t know maybe I need somebody to dress me up :)
 

What kept you sane?
 

Magugulat ka ba kung sasabihin kong Bible? I am not a religious type but that book really makes me sane this last few months.
Magulo utak ko e, I need someone to talk with..wala akong makita kaya binubuksan ko yung bible na binili ko pa more than a decade ago.
And while reading it I realized that Bible is not just a food for the soul, tama ang literature prof ko sa college. The stories inside it are indeed
a literary piece.
 

Which celebrity figure did you fancy the most?
 

Aminin ko na bang si Brad Pitt? lol!! I like Leonardo di Carpio too :), dagdag natin si Colin Farrel, Zach Braff hehehehehe marami baka maubo ang pahina.

What political issue stirred you the most?
 The administration itself, the social system, political system, and the people in politics.
 Who did you miss…in Manila?
 

My family (tatay ko, nanay ko, sis ko at syempre si Aya ko)
 

Who was the best new person you met?
 

Joanne, my new found friend here in Sg. I met her through a friend I met online when I was still in Phils.
 

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006:
 

Think positive, be brave to accept everything that come’s your way and learn from it or else sasabog utak mo at pupulutin ka sa apat na sulok ng isang kwarto sa MH.
 

What was the nicest thing someone told you about yourself?
 

Magaling daw ako magsulat ….pero may kadugtong na pero ang sis ko noong sinabi nya yun.  Coming from my sis na sobra ang pagpapahalaga ng parents ko dahil sa narating nya? syempre masayang marinig yun.
 

The most touching experience you’ve had this year?
 

yung phone chat with nanay, palagay ko alam nyo na ang istorya.
 

If you could go back in time to any moment of 2006 and change something, what would it be?

Hindi na mababago ang isang bagay na nangyari na.  Ang dapat ay matuto na lang sa karanasan. What are your plans for 2007?
 plans?  di ako nagpaplano e :( ganito na lang planuhin ko na magkaplano ako sa buhay ko..tama ba? parang mali.
 How are you different now that the year has ended?
 

Sabi ko aalagaan ko na sarili ko…. di na ko nagyoyosi plamis.
 

What are your wishes for the new year?
 

Wish ko magkaroon na ng direksyon buhay ko at buhay ng ibang tao at ang mundong ginagalawan ko.  Magulo kasi direksyon o ako lang magulo?

Grabeh nahirapan ako dito.  Whew!  Kaya kailangan may mahirapan din.  Pasa ko to kay karmi, ma’am rems at Tikey kaya?

Onga! Whew mahaba pero interesting ah! Di ko pa nasubukan magbasa ng tagalog na nobela. Nahihiligan ko na rin ang Grey’s Anatomy pero natutuwa pa rin ako sa Dr. House. Hahaha. Enjoy 2007! :D

Magulo tlga te NAlen ang direksyon ng buhay, kc merong Right turn, U turn, right turn left turn, pero ang mahalaga naman e pag nag u Turn ka, wala kang stiffneck hindi ba? dahil kung meron mahihirapan ka tlga…

Meron narin tayong mga compass ngaun kung sakaling naliligaw ka ng landas, pero kung wala kang makitang compass , ibig sabihin e nasa bundok ka at malayo kasa sibilisasyon.

basta ganun… naubos ko popcorn ko ehhehe

auff no… woi read mo ung version ko nito ha… ang 2006 ko din masaya at masaklap :| mantakin mo nde ako nakagraduate… tapos last year din ung taon nag migrate gf ko sa states…

basta medio kahindik hindik din ang taong 2006 sakin

buti pa ko nasubukan ko ng magbasa ng nobelang english lol, it’s about time siguro na sulyapan mo yung literature na gawa mismo ng mga pinoy ano :) Yung Grey’s Anatomy kasi sayad sa lupa ang istorya totoong nangyayari unlike some other shows e napakaimposible :)
